DWI Technology Conference Overview
The 2011 DWI Technology Conference is funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation to the Texas Center for the Judiciary to increase the effectiveness of DWI adjudications in Texas. Spanning the gap between traffic safety and the judiciary, the Texas Center and Judge Mark D. Atkinson, Texas Judicial Resource Liaison, provide training, technical assistance, and support for Texas judges handling DWI and other traffic safety related cases.
The DWI Technology Conference allows judges to learn the latest in alcohol monitoring devices and how they impact the adjudication of impaired driving cases. You’ll earn six (6) hours of continuing judicial education and learn from your fellow judges in facilitated discussion.
